Starting at the age of 9, Miquel Tanda took lessons for a decade to play classical music – such as Johann Sebastian Bach – on an acoustic guitar. As a teenager, and after having received an electric guitar from his favorite cousin, he started playing punk rock music with friends from school. In a few songs of that band, he banged the drums.
When another band lacked a bass guitar player, Tanda started playing bass guitar as well, happy to combine both instruments, the guitar and the drums.
A few years ago, he started his solo project, Globally Local Music, for which he is composing and producing electronic music with Cubase. Besides that Tanda is making music with his friends from school again, playing the bass again, but now on analog synthesizers, not on guitar.
